Premise:

Shazam! is based on the Captain Marvel comic book character created by Bill Parker and C.C. Beck for Fawcett Comics. Captain Marvel originally appeared in Whiz Comics #2 (1940). Captain Marvel is now owned by DC Comics. Since 1973, DC would often call Captain Marvel's adventures Shazam!

In this 30 minute television series (part of the The Shazam!/Isis Hour), teenager Billy Batson and his adult companion, Mentor, travel around the country in an RV helping those in need. Billy has been given the power to turn into Captain Marvel by using the magical word "Shazam". When needed, Billy could speak directly to the elders that gave him his powers: Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury. The elders would often give Billy cryptic warnings about something he will encounter.
