Premise:
"From executive producer Gavin Polone (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and executive producer/writer David Seltzer (The Omen), the series is a six-hour event that foretells an apocalyptic, end-of-the-world scenario centering on the final conflict between God and the devil." (The description giving by NBC.)
Bill Pullman (The Grudge) plays the lead male role and Natascha McElhone (The Truman Show) will play the female lead in NBC's upcoming apocalyptic limited-run series called Revelations. Bill Pullman (The Grudge) plays a Harvard professor, Richard Massey, whose daughter is murdered by Satanists. Natascha McElhone (The Truman Show) plays a nun, Sister Josepha Montifiore, who recruits Pullman's character to help investigate whether the events foretold in the Book of Revelation is starting to come true.
Much like ABC's Kingdom Hospital or USA's The 4400, the project is designed to be self-contained however there will be the possibility of additional seasons should ratings merit.
