Synopsis: Spirited 16 year old Joan Girardi gets an unexpected visit from a really hot guy claiming to be God. He gives Joan a mission…find a job. Joan's parents head a close-knit family trying to adjust to a recent move to Arcadia and the accident that left their eldest son a paraplegic. Joan's dad is the new chief of police and is trying to solve a serial killer case.

Synopsis: God tells Joan to stop squandering her potential, so Joan enrolls in an advanced-placement chemistry class. There, she is partnered with Adam Rove and Grace Polk. After Kevin passes his driver’s ed test, Helen is eager for him to get a car.
