(01/20/04) SCI FI Wire reports that UPN announced over the weekend that production has been halted for Jake 2.0 and that the show won’t return unless ratings improve dramatically. It is unclear whether the remaining original episodes will be aired. Fans of the show are shocked and are starting to organize a campaign to save the series.

The website SCI FI Wire reports that former Six Million Dollar Man star Lee Majors has an upcoming guest appearance on UPN's Jake 2.0. The episode, “Double Agent,” which airs Dec. 17, has Majors playing retired NSA agent Dick Fox. Dick Fox is pulled out of retirement to help Jake hunt down an ex-KGB operative planning a deadly attack on the U.S.
