Premise:

The mini-series was based upon two of the books from the James Gurney's book series, Dinotopia.

Wealthy American, Frank Scott, and his two teenage sons, Karl and David, are forced to crash land their plane into the Caribbean. They find themselves on Dinotopia, a strange new world where talking dinosaurs have an uneasy alliance with humans.
