Premise:

An action adventure series about a 17th century pirate, Black Jack Savage, that is cursed to remain in the courtyard of his castle for his evil deeds. In order for him to escape hell he must save a life for every one he has taken. The ghost strikes a deal with Barry Tarberry, a man on the run from the IRS and hiding out on San Pietro island. For every life saved, Barry can have half credit toward his own impending fate.
