Plot Outline: In the late 21st century, a subculture of humans has emerged. They are humans that have been modified genetically by a vampire-like disease called Hemophagia. The disease gives them enhanced speed, incredible stamina and acute intelligence. The world is now near civil war as the "healthy" humans plan the destruction of the "diseased" population. Caught in the middle is an infected woman, Ultraviolet (Jovovich), who is trying to protect a nine-year-old boy marked for death by the human government.
