Plot Outline A re-envisioning of George Romero's apocalyptic horror classic, "Dawn of the Dead". An unexplained plague has nearly wiped out the world’s population, but yet the dead are aren’t dying, instead they are turning into zombies. A nurse (Polley), a police officer (Rhames), and a ragtag group of survivors seek refuge in a large indoor mall in a Wisconsin town. There they must learn to protect themselves from the zombies, but also try to co-exist with each other.
