Plot Outline: An adaptation of the popular videogame series by the same name.

Edward Carnby (Slater), detective of the paranormal, is investigating the recent death of a friend. The mystery leads him to a place called "Shadow Island." There he faces bizarre horrors that are both psychologically disturbing and lethal. Only with the help of his ex-girlfriend, genius anthropologist Aline Cedrac (Reid) and bitter rival, government agent Richard Burke (Dorff), can he stop an ancient culture of demon worshippers from opening a gateway to hell.
